Zac Ligatures

Zac Ligatures are handcrafted in Italy by Alberto Pellizzari, a saxophonist, designer, and the creator of Zac’s innovative ligature system. Developed from Pellizzari’s own experience as a musician, Zac ligatures are designed to give players precise control over response, projection, and tonal character through an adjustable system and interchangeable resonators.

The company has earned recognition for its innovative approach to single-reed instruments and has built a following among professional musicians in both the classical and jazz worlds. Zac artists include acclaimed saxophonists Andrea Ferrario and Fiorenzo Zeni, as well as distinguished clarinetists Riccardo Crocilla and Tommaso Lonquich.

Handmade in Italy, Zac Ligatures combine thoughtful engineering, craftsmanship, and a musician-driven approach to sound.
