The Apollo Ebonite Alto mouthpiece is unmatched in its brightness and warmth. Stunning in both appearance and sound, the Apollo ebonite gives the player more freedom and control over volume and range. You'll gain easy access to the fourth octave, and great projection throughout all the highs and lows.
The Apollo Ebonite is the screamin' cousin of the Claude Lakey Originals line, and like the Apollo Brass, it's particularly well known for being a bit warmer in timbre than the originals. The Apollo is great for Jazz work, but also has great value in rock, funk, and house music ensembles. It's bright tone cuts through a large ensemble, but can also be pulled back to blend in when you need to. With total control and great free blowing projection, the Apollo ebonite is well suited for any genre.
