A durable and darker reed with fewer overtones than the Signature. A thicker tip and heart produces a purer tone with fewer complexities. The Classic for Saxophone is the recommended cut for marching band performers and those blending their sound with a large ensemble.

Légère synthetic reeds are rugged and should last for many hours of playing. Its properties are very similar to those of wet cane. It doesn't have to be preconditioned before playing. Impermeable to water. Completely non-toxic. Can be sanitized. It is extremely tough and it will last a long, long time.
